After becoming "a victim of its own success" when we became so big that restaurants would only allow us limited menus, we now have two small groups each of about 8 people. Our Sunday lunch group occasionally has spaces, so if you are interested please contact Anthony (who is the Chairman).
Our last lunch was at the Golf Club on Sunday 24th November.
We share lifts to reach the various venues.
Mount Pleasant in Bawtry, Hickman Hill, Gainsborough, The Swan at Scotter and The Cross Keys at Stow are some of our favourite venues.
The time passes very quickly as we relax, chatter, laugh and eat
We meet on the last Sunday of each month.
A sign up sheet is available at the back of the Thursday meeting which shows whatever venue we have chosen for the lunch that month.
We may meet altogether once or twice a year at places such as the Golf Club which can easily accommodate bigger groups for their carvery. If the groups become popular, we may need a Sunday Lunch Group 3!
