Group Leader - Hilary
Contact via the Chairman or at the Thursday meetings. We aim to ride every other Wednesday, but this can be altered, at short notice, by adverse weather conditions. We usually aim to set off at 10:00am. from various locations.
We are a small group who enjoy leisurely cycling for fun, tea, bacon butties and cakes. Old bikes and ordinary clothing are fine, as are electric-assist bikes.
Some favourite routes further afield are the Doddington Hall loop, inc. the Flexborough Viaduct extension, the Trent Valley Trail new section at North Clifton, and the Sturton-le-Steeple loop along the old Roman road.

We have several local routes from Morton, Lea and outlying villages, We enjoy a slow sociable ride mainly on quiet roads, covering about a 10- 20 mile round trip, stopping for lunch somewhere in the middle. We keep to minor roads as far as possible.
A helmet is strongly recommended but not compulsory.
On average there are only 5 of us. If you would like to give us a try, we can attempt to devise a ride from your home but in the long term a bike carrier would be useful.
