Acappella Folk Quartet: Traditional and Contemporary Folk Songs
Peasants Revolt are an a cappella Folk quartet based in Lincolnshire . Songs are mainly traditional folk, sung in 3 part harmony.
In A cappella, voices are used to create music, without any instruments. The Italian term "in the style of the chapel”, originally refered to church music, eg Gregorian chant. Barber shop quartets, shanty singing and beatboxing are modern examples.
