The original Sunday Lunch Group group was a victim of its own success: we became so big that restaurants would only allow us limited menus. We now have split into 2 groups and we have found that  the best number for each is no more than 8 members.

Sunday Lunch Group 1 is organised by Rosie. We meet once a month and really have a good time: thoroughly enjoying our meals out and each other's company.

Our favourite places are the Hickman Hill Hotel during winter months, in case the roads are bad . The Golf Club, and The Ingram Arms, which has undergone a big renovation . This month we hope to try the White Swan at Scotter.

We would welcome more groups being established. We may  all meet together once or twice a year at places such as the Golf Club which can easily accommodate bigger groups for their carvery.
